Upgrading Canadian Resident Tickets to AP

Has anyone tried this yet? I bought the Canadian resident tickets just to be safe but we are considering buying AP's yet again for multiple trips. Is it possible to upgrade these to AP's and pay the difference?

Yes, you can upgrade Canadian resident tickets to an AP (we did this last August), but you will only receive the value of what you paid and not the face value of the ticket.
