Upgrading AP Voucher?

I purchased Gold DVC AP vouchers a couple weeks ago just in case the price raises before we use them in June. We are now planning a Christmas trip and will need Platinum DVC APs. How does this work with vouchers? Do we have to wait until June when we activate them to upgrade to Platinum or can this be done over the phone?

I’d just wait until June and upgrade the voucher then. I am not sure if you can do over phone or not.

Doing it now, if you can, could insulate you from a price increase but also means paying the difference now vs. in 6 months.

The other option is to hand on to the vouchers and use them the next time you need an AP, unless you’d be renewing the platinum for a gold in June 2021.
