Now I'm officially irritated with Disney.
I called to check on upgrading my Premium Pass to the Signature. At this point, it would add the PP+ benefit, which I want for my upcoming December trip. I don’t care about block outs at the end of year, I never go then, anyways.
So….I recently renewed my PAP at the beginning of August. It cost me $719.00, because I was given a $60 renewal discount…pretty standard. The normal price is $779.00.
So I’m thinking I should only have to pay the difference in the two passes’ price…$779 vs $849. $70.00.
NOPE! They tell me I have to pay the difference between $719 and $849…so, $130.00. WHAT??? Why offer people the incentive to renew via a discount if you’re just going to make them pay it later when/if they want to upgrade?
