Upgrading 9 year old ???

We leave in 2 days for 8 day/7 night trip to the world!! I was thinking about upgrading my son so he could eat like an adult. We are staying at POP & paid to upgrade from the QSDP to the 'regular' plan so ............. what I'm wondering is how that would work to upgrade the child? I know the park tickets would be @ $25 but am wondering how much (either per day or total) it would cost to upgrade the dining plan for my son. Does anyone know??

Upgrading a child to adult for basic DDP costs $34/night, by my calculations.

I missed that part. You are quire correct -- the OP is too late to make any package changes.

That said, for the price difference involved, consider that staying with the kids' meals (and tickets) will save you money at al buffets/AYCE, and at other locations, paying OOP to supplement the kids' meals with additional food (like adding an appetizer at TS) will likely be cheaper than the upgrade.

All very good points! Thank you - I think I will take your advise & just pay OOP if he needs more food! May be a great way to try some appetizers too! THANK YOU!
