upgrading 5 day PHP to AP

I have a 5 day PHP that I would like to upgrade to a AP. It is a child's pass for my 4 year old granddaughter. The 5 day PHP has never been used. Where can I do the upgrade? Can I do it at the Disney Store, and get the DC discount? Or is there anywhere else I can do the upgrade and still get the DC discount? Thanks!

The only place you can upgrade one pass to another is at Guest Relations at WDW. There is one at each of the four major parks and two in the DTD area. Disney Stores cannot do this.

You are lucky in that you are upgrading to an AP. Normally there is no way to apply the DC discount on tickets purchased while at WDW. The only exception to that is on Annual Passes. So yes, you will be able to use your DC discount when you do this.
