Upgrading 10 day world passes

Before my December trip i asked whether it was possible to upgrade 10 day passes to annual passes. There did not seem to be a definitive answer but I can now tell you that it is definitely possible. I took my tickets to guest services in Downtown Disney before using them and asked to upgrade to Premium Annual Passes. The two CMs were very doubtful but agreed to try by inputing the details into their computerised till. It came up with a value for the tickets (which I didn't notice) which they then deducted from the cost of the PAPs. I also asked for the Disney Club discount which they gave me. I think it worked out at around £140 extra each for the Premium Annual Pass and I paid £225 for the 10 day pass making the PAP £365. I think I lost about £30 a ticket for the transfer but it was still worthwhile for me (especially when you factor in resort discounts for next year and free parking)

..... that is interesting Sian - thank you for telling us.
I am a little surprised as the 10 Day Passes are ( or were) only available through UK outlets but then again, their system would have to recognise the passes for park entry etc so I appreciate they would also have values input into the system too.
