Upgrades, How far out?

Just curious as to people who have been upgrade. How long before your cruise did you get upgraded?

We just found out yesterday for our 11/29 cruise. When we called the TA to make sure they had received our final payment they told us we were in rm 5000, a Cat 8 and we booked a Cat 11 GTY....

I found out the first week of August we got and upgrade! And we don't sail until October 16th. We booked to Category 11 GTY cabins and got upgraded to two Category 9 cabins!

WAHOOOOO!!!!

We just got a call from our TA that DCL has upgraded us from a cat 7 to a cat 5. I never expected the upgrade because most of the upgrades seem to happen when you have cat 11 or 10. We had picked a cabin too. We leave on the wonder for a 3-day cruise on the 9/11. Have all our docs with the old number on it. I guess I will need to get out a sharpie and start changing luggage tags etc.
