upgrades/disney visa rates

We will be visiting Disney July 3-6 and are currently booked at Pop Century. We loved POR in 2002 and would like to try POFQ. When will Disney Visa put out special rates and how do you get a free upgrade from value to moderate? My husband and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary the week before and our daughter turns 6 the week after we are there.

Disney Visa already has special rates out. The moderates are $89 4/18-7/4. I haven't heard about free upgrades unless they are not able to give you the room you booked (such as when a resort goes down for refurb).

I would call and see if the current rates apply. They are suppose to be good for the entire stay after the date you check-in and if you check in on 7/3 you might be able to get the current rate since it goes through 7/4.
