So I just got back tonight, but wanted to share that I had no problem at all upgrading a 3day hopper pass from the citypass to an AP. I used the hopper pass for entry (myself and 2 DSs) then headed straight to the Bank on Main st. Short wait later, I handed the tickets to a very nice CM (Serenity) and told her I wanted to upgrade the tix.
The back of the 2 10+ year passes said $189 and the 3-9yr pass said $159. She said the amount applied would be that amount that was listed on the back of the passes. She said since the passes had to be equal or more than the amount of the tickets being used for the upgrade, I could either upgrade to a deluxe AP or do a So Cal AP and add parking. I decided to add parking to mine and my older DS's pass because he's actually gone with friends, and now he can give them all free parking too.
It was very easy, took about 10 minutes.
