Just a quick post - its worth asking about price to upgrade at airport with virgin

Waiting to board - paid £508 for 4 of us to upgrade (apparently a 'BOGOF' offer!)

I shall ask in 3 weeks time when we go but last time they still quoted me silly prices! PE is nice but not willing to pay to much as we have the two seats at the back of the plane.

Same here, we always ask but have never been willing to pay what they are asking. However we always tend to pay the supplement to get the extra legroom seats if they are available.

Hi, sitting in room in OKW now - everyone else asleep

Just wanted to add that in 13 flights with virgin this is the first time we have been quoted anywhere near what we would be willing to pay for an upgrade (no more than £150 per person)

I do feel that we arrived in Orlando far more relaxed and getting off the plane first was brilliant seeing no queue at customs. My husband always gets pulled for secondary checks but we still got away before the queue was anywhere near finished.
We landed around 1.45pm and were checking in at OKW just after 3 with our room ready for us.
