Upgrade to deluxe room or Villa

I've also posted this on the CL board, but hoping to get some insight.

DH and decided that in order to really relax on the vacation (our first with our 2 year old!) we want to have some extra space so he can sleep but we can still talk at normal levels and watch tv or a movie. So, we are deciding between a 1br Villa at WL or the deluxe room... any strong thoughts either way?

The 1br will be about $1400 less than the deluxe room, but the deluxe amenities would probably be nice.

the 1-bedroom villa is nice.

it comes with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, nice balcony, living area - the master bath has whirlpool tub and shower stall.

with a small child that washer/dryer can be nice.
