'Upgrade' to Annual Passport???

We are already booked into Santa Fe for 2 nights including tickets(therefore 3 days in parks ) + 2 nights at Explorers. Instead of possibly buying a further 1 day pass, would it be possible to upgrade to Annual Passports (the lure of Disney Magic is great )? If so, what would be the best way of doing it?

You cannot upgrade package tickets I'm afraid you'd need to buy seperately.
If you bought tickets separately they will take off the price of one days admison from your annual pass

As Angela says you will only get the credit of one day off of your annual passport regardless of how many days package tickets you have

I just asked the lady this exact question when I made my package reservation a few days ago. She said it is like you don't have a pass at all -- in that you can't "trade" the package passes in to get anything off an Annual Pass.

I was disappointed, because I am paying for the pass, and would like to upgrade to an annual, but now I will have to pay full price.
