Upgrade to a 7 day hopper from a 5 day hopper?

I'm sure that the answer to this question is "hidden" somewhere on the boards but I can't seem to find a direct answer. So here is my question.

My entire family (me, DH, DS, DBIL, mom, dad, and 2 nephews) will be at Disney from the 11th of August to the 18th. Originally we were only planning on being at the World from the 13th to the 18th but expanded our trip. The DH and I have AP's. My sister just bought four 7 day hopper passes, but my parents currently only have 5 day hoppers. Can we upgrade there passes once we get to Disney to the 7 day hoppers? What will the difference in price be?

Yes, you can upgrade. My understanding is you have to upgrade before they expire. You would pay the difference between a 5 and a 7 which shouldn't be that much since the passes are front loaded with the highest cost on the first few days.

When I was playing around with pricing our trip on the Disney website it only added on like $3 to change from a 5 day to a 6 day park hopper. We finally ended booking for 7 nights with a 6 day park hopper and the CM on the phone was mentioning that it would only be a very small amount to change to 7 day park hoppers.
