upgrade to 1 day /2park TIX?

Hi everyone... 8 more days... anyways, does anyone know if you have already bought a one day pass can you upgrade at the gates to the one day/2 day ticket? We have AP's, but family members who are going with us where so excited they ran right out and bought the aaa one daypass...now they are bummed out to see they should have waited and got the one day/2park ticket.. can we upgrade them at the front gate and do you think our AP discounts for that upgrade will apply?

Help soon cuz we are florida bound!

Yes, you can upgrade, but you may not be able to get a discount on the upgrade. Just ask when you get to the front.
