Upgrade Ticket from Child to Adult

I bought a child ticket and I need an adult. I bought them from Hotwiresavings. Can you go to Disney and pay the difference between a never used child to adult?

You can, but you will not get the full amount that you paid for the pass applied to the cost of an adult pass. Disney will credit you the amount that they sold the pass to Hotwire for. That may be close to the amount that you paid but you won't know until you go to make the exchange.

And just so it doesn't come as a shock to you when you get there, you will be charged the gate price for the new adult ticket. So your transaction will go like this:

Adult ticket gate price minus credit allowed for Hotwire ticket = difference in price you will pay.
