Upgrade ??'s

we will be sailing on the 2/12 wonder. Have our documents and expect to be in our assigned cabin on deck 7. (Category 11) I have been reading thru last years trip reports and have found quite a few mentioning being upgraded as a surprise at the port. It would be a great disney moment..but I was wondering if you have already checked in your luggage with the porter outside the terminal.. and don't know about your new cabin assignment til you check in... Do you have to go and get your luggage from the original cabin location..or do they check the list for the cabins and make sure your luggage goes where you are??

When we upgraded last year our luggage was delivered to our door, we did not have to go looking for it. Others have reported that they needed to go to their first room assignment to get their luggage. When we upgraded we were told that they maintained a list and did their best to get the luggage to the right spot.

The do try....but you can stop by your new cabin and tell your steward. He'll take care of everything from there.
