Upgrade question - pay difference breakdown

Currently I'm booked for free dining for 3 nights in September with 1 day MYW (will upgrade to FL seasonal annual pass) at the ASM. I'm considering upgrading to the Poly because I will have a 10 month old at the time.

We will be doing the MNSSHP on the first night it is offered and right now I am throwing around the idea of canceling the Free dining and booking the Poly with the FL resident rate and paying for the dining OOP.

I need some assistance on the breakdown on price. I know the ASM rate (without the additional pass upgrade cost) will be $431 for 2 adults and an infant. The poly cost for the same package would be $1301. I was told that I could upgrade with the package i currently have if rooms are open. I'm just trying to get an idea of the cost breakdown if I do the resident room rate and pay for the dining package OOP.

You would have to get the pricing per night at the Poly with the Fla resident or AP discount rate to see what the cost comparison would be. If the discount is deep enough then you'd be better off with a room only discount for a deluxe resort as a package with FD requires you to pay rack rate for the room. Rack rate at the Poly is much more costly than rack rate at a deluxe during value season.---Kathy
