Ok here is my dilema... I am taking FI on a surprise trip to Disney World to meet with the rest of his family (12 in total) in August. I orginally decided to stay at the All Star's (mind you we are having our fairytale wedding in November) then decided to upgrade to the Coronado Springs. I am now deciding to try and upgrade to the Contemporary. The reason being is that his family will be staying at the Poly and we want to be as close as possible but with a REASONABLE price. We are only going for 4 nights and want to enjoy the parks and not worry about bus troubles at CS.

Should I upgrade or am I just being paranoid about CS Bus system?

Thank you-:earsgirl: :earsboy:

The bus system at Coronado is great! I wouldn't switch from CSR to CR because I prefer the atmosphere at CSR. The difference in price would also be significant, I'd imagine. Stick with CSR... it's a great resort!

Erin :D

I would give the CSR a try. You will not be dissappointed. I wasn't expecting much when I stayed there. I was in for a big surprise. The hotel is much nicer than you think. The scenery and details to the resort are a must see. Good luck!

If you want to be able to run back and forth easily I would definitely switch. The monorail would be much faster than waiting for a bus and there's the time for the bus ride too. At CR you would just go up to the monorail platform wait a few minutes (I don't think I've ever waited more than 5 minutes) hop on for a short ride and you're there. The bus ride from the CSR would be more than 10 minutes just because of the distance.

CSR is a great resort though, so if you're planning to meet his family at the parks I'd stay with CSR for the savings (save the money for your honeymoon - plus CSR has the BEST pool area). And you might like having a "little" distance between you. After the wedding I'm sure you'll get to spend PLENTY of time with his family!;)

The Contemporaty shares busses with other resorts. Last time we were there it was Polynesian and GF. CSR busses would probably get you there faster. :D

Maybe it's a good idea to have some space and be away from the rest of the family - especially if you want some alone time.

I'd stick with the CSR too. I agree with >>^..^<< it would be a lot harder for surprise visitors to pop over at the CSR, this way you'll get alone time.
