So we will be at disney for a few days This weekend and we are reserved to stay at wilderness cabins. I called the reservation line this morning to switch credit cards for paying the room. While waiting for approval from AMEX, I asked if there were any Florida resident specials available. She offered me a room at Boardwalk for only $50 more a night ($150 total). I accepted her offer. We don't use the kitchen in the cabins and don't care for the full size bed. All we need is a fridge for the babies milk and food. Did I make a mistake accepting her offer or was this a good deal. We were only paying $200 night for the cabins.

Unless you really need the extra space in the cabin I thing it was a great move! Love that area, and the resort is beautiful.

Don't really the extra space. I figured it would be nice to walk to Epcot. We never stayed in that area before so it will be a nice switch from staying near MK.

You can also walk to DHS, so you're in close proximity to two theme parks when staying at BWI. Enjoy!

I love Fort Wilderness but only when staying in my own trailer. I think you'll love the Boardwalk.

I haven't stayed in the cabins, but the entire boardwalk area makes me unable to go stay in the magic kingdom area. It's wonderful.
The ability to boat or walk to two parks is just awesome, the views are gorgeous, and the dining options are plentiful.

Hi, I think it will be a great deal! I hope you enjoy walking into Epcot through International Gateway as much as we do. We love the quiet walk through the UK and Canada pavillions on our way to Soarin' at Rope Drop. Or the easy access to World Showcase at night for dinner and Illuminations. Walking to DHS is easy as well in the morning but sometimes in the afternoon we're too wiped to walk and we'll take the Friendship boat back to the resort. You'll be able to roll the stroller right on if the baby is sleeping.
Night time on the Boardwalk is fun. We really like walking and enjoying the entertainment, shopping and snacking!
Luna Park is a fun feature pool. The Keister Koaster is my kids favorite slide! In the evening they roast marshmallows over by the quiet pool on the Boardwalk Villas side. This pool is very close to Luna Park.
Enjoy your weekend - I'm more than a little jealous! :)
