Upgrade airport standard to mini van Alamo

Have you ever been offered an upgrade to a mini van at $x per day? If so do you remember the price they offered for the upgrade? Just curious if when they offer you the upgrade is it equal the same amount if you had just booked that or is it a discount? Thanks

Generally, that type of upgrade at the counter would be much less than if you had booked it outright. But, they usually make those offers when they are running out of cars in the class you booked and have extra in the other class. That seems exceeding unlikely when it comes to minivans in Orlando.

Why not walk out to the garage first and see if there are any vans in the lot. A lot of times there are vans in the mid-size row. If there is have someone else in the family stay at the van while you go in and process the paperwork and you won't have to upgrade. We were just there last week and saw several in the row

I'm not sure about finding these on the mid size aisle, but in the off season we have seem SUVs and minivans show up on Alamo's full size aisle occasionally.
