I don't know if there is such thing as TMI when it comes to running. I think bodily functions can and will get in the way of running. BELIEVE me!! And chaffing?!?!!!!! OMG! been there too!! In all areas imaginable. At least not so bad as my dh... runner's 11... those make for some interesting pics on guys. Yuck!

However... congrats!!! BIG congrats on the 9 miles and also on having the trip paid off.

Thanks! Feels great to have it paid off, especially since January is my slowest month for petsitting! Parts still have not arrived, but I'm making due with Savannah's computer!

Happy New Year! Thanks, I'm nervous about those last three long runs, especially b/c I'm feeling a little something tweaking in my heel/achilles area again. Feels like exact same injury I had over the summer, so I'm slowing it down and resting this week.

HAPPY NEW YEAR & 50 DAYS!!!!!!

I hope everyone enjoyed ringing in the new year! I am not really bit on making resolutions and especially this year. I'm just not in the "make-new-goals" mood since I'm smack dab in the middle of working towards a goal right now!

and I WILL complete the Princess Half, I will! I'm having a little tweaky feeling in my heel/achilles area after my long run last weekend, so I'm taking it easy. It's the same injury I had over the summer and I pray it does not get any worse. I HATE skipping runs, my training planner is screaming at me, but I must save myself for the long runs. I'm freaking out a little, but trying to stay positive. I could run the half right now if I had to, it doesn't HURT, per say, but I know it will if I push it and it worsens.

We had a quiet New Year's. Rey had to leave out on the road and the boys were busy with stuff on their computers, so Savannah, Eleanor, and I had a game night! Naturally I had to go all out on the decorating, even for just three of us. What can I say? It's just what I do. Makes for good photos.

I wrapped up board games that we already own (plus 2 new ones) and marked them each hour counting down to the New Year. We totally got backed up on them and didn't even open the last two, but it didn't matter, the point was to have something fun to do while we counted down.

Savannah made a cake...NATURALLY I had to put a tutu around it. Seemed perfectly fitting to ring in 2014! The year I run the PHM!

Few other decorations thrown together. It's amazing how cheaply you can decorate a table!

Here I am, sporting my 80s look...no, I wasn't drunk...didn't have any alcohol at all, if you can believe that!

The headband thing was from a new game we got. SO much fun!

I love taking shots of the girls taking selfies. LOL

They had a LOT of fun making the punch, I cannot share the whole series of shots (Lisa, look on FB!) because there are too many, but the facial expressions were priceless.

Who knew making punch could be so entertaining?!! So, I was totally lame and went to bed at 10pm. I had to work in the morning and just could not stay up. BUT...Savannah started blowing the horns at midnight and I woke up and stayed up with the girls for about an hour and a half, so I think that still counts as ringing in the new year! Here they are just after midnight:

They had to take a bunch off their countdown chain from the last time Eleanor was over!

This is Savannah's freaking out b/c I-don't-have-enough-money-saved-for-my-souvenir's-face, when she realized we were just 51 days away. It looks EXACTLY LIKE my I-have-to-run-a-half-marathon-in-51-days-face!

It was a fantastic night and we're all excited to see what 2014 brings!

I know I will be crossing that finish line, I don't care if I have to walk or crawl...I WILL do it!

Love your pics of New Years Eve. Yeah, if you were lame, we were probably slugs as there was no celebrating at my home. Peter had gotten into a car accident on his way home, so we are down to one car right now. An 18 year old girl ran a stop sign and with the roads being snow covered, Peter couldn't stop in time and hit her. His car is pretty squashed up (the front end), but he's ok. No one is more happy to see 2013 go than me!~!!

Oh man, giving up diet soda? I don't drink it as often as I used to, maybe once a week, but I couldn't give it up all together! Good luck with that!

I have a Nikon D90. I was doing professional photography for a while, so I invested in something I really love. It's a fantastic camera but takes some time and effort to learn how to really ge the shots you want. Not like a point and shoot!

One of my best friends is in Canada and we mostly talk on IM. I've now taken to adding u's to things. She thinks it's hilarious.

Missed this Imbri. It's cute. It's weird where our heads go. I get underlined when I spell words correctly all the time, spell check is US based, so every time I'm in a Cdn/British word difference my fingers now stop on their own. So silly!

I love how ridiculous they are at times. They never cease to amaze me.

I understand if it all was a DVC booking with ME, owner has to do it. Got it. But when you're half and half why can't they just do both ends. That's so strange (I'm smiling, not even caring to figure them out)

AND if you were right there at Disney they would let you do it, and phone Magical Express and book it. They are so entertaining.
