Updt 07/26 Pictures, food and more 8 days at POP

Great report so far! We were at Pop in building 3 last year, and we really enjoyed it.

Great pics, and congrats on your 15th anniversary....love the menu at the CR. We have the diver for DS' 8th bday this year but we haven't sent the pics for the menu yet.

Wow...sounds awesome so far!!!

When we were there in September I had the special menus made up too!!
My kids menus said : Nemo welcomes you to Disney (or something like that)and like 3 pics of them - and mine and my DH was an annerversary greeting (like yours) with a few pics!! What a great thing to surprise your family with!! My family was just as surprised as yours!!!

The menu thing is a really fun, wish I had thought about having one done for my DS,

I had such a hard time getting in touch with the Coral Reef, it was two days before we left that I finally reached someone, Deb was on vacation, but my DH was surprised.

Just found your report today. We were there the same time staying at Pop! We love staying there.

My DD celebrated her 6th birthday on June 8th and had a great time. Can't wait to read more about your trip!

Were there any impediments or any thing that would slow you down!! As you all know, ya gott GO, GO, GO!!

No, nothing, the buses from POP were great.

We never found the lines to long, and never waited for more then 10 minutes for a bus, if you want to make a rope drop, just be sure you give yourself enough time in case you just miss one bus, there is always another one comming.

Problem Solved

Day 3 Magic Kingdom

But first breakfast at POP.

Pop Waffle, along with my DS' second attempt at a well rounded healthy ? breakfast lol

Pop waffle, was pretty good.

Off to MK. We decided to drive over in our own car, because we had not used the buses yet.

We didnt make rope drop again, so my DS thought we should take the train to Splash mountain to maybe miss the crowd. Good Thinking.


Oh no, a sign of things to come.
We got on Splash with out a wait, we had just started up the first incline when the ride stopped and we hear brae (sp?) bear saying Brae fox was up to no good. lol. Well after hearing this for the 10 or so time, we started to see cm's walking back and forth, and a lot of talking to each other over the pa. After about a half of an hour they finally got the ride going again, and we were able to enjoy the rest of the ride. When we got off they gave us each a fast pass to use anywhere in the park for the rest of the day.

My DS then wanted to go to the Haunted Mansion, I so love this ride, I always say this would be my favorite job at WDW. I want to be the cm who tells you to drag your warm body away from the walls.

I want this girls job.

I never knew this tombstone's eyes opened before, and I couldnt believe I got a picture of them open.

Of course we rode iasw, pp, sw, wtp,tta, cop, hop.

After TTA, ( my Ds other favorite ride, he could stay on this forever), we decided to have lunch at Cosmic Rays.

Ds had the chicken strips, said they were pretty good.

DH had the BarBQ Pork sandwich, with Eclipse Chips, lloved the chips and the sandwich as well.

I had the turkey bacon wrap, it was wonderful, DH tried it and wished he had ordered it as well.

They each had the brownie and I had the carrot cake. Also very good for fast food.

Part two of Day three !

After lunch we decided to walk around the world and see what else we wanted to go on.

I was so sad the POC was closed for refurbishment.
It was closed when we were there 2 years ago also. So we decided on Jungle Cruise as there was no line. Fun as usual, the cm was really funny, sometimes they can be kind of blah, but this girl was very good.

Then my DS and DH wanted to go on BTMRR, I passed on this one, as not one of my favs, again they had no wait and were back in 10 minutes.

Then it was time for the tiki birds, still fun but I miss the original. When we came out we decided it was time for the DOLE WHIP !!!!! We always get the float, my absolute favorite

Then it was time to go to the Christmas Shop, I just love, love, love this store. My dream is to someday have a christmas tree done in everthing Mickey and Lenox, ( I know quite the combo) I'm getting pretty close. We did miss the parade, but my DS and DH just werent into it.

Just love this castle, was so hoping to be the family that won the dream to sleep there, but no wishes for us.

I don't remember seeing see these statues before, could it be I just missed them?
