updating your Pal Mickey

When we go in December our Pal Mickey will be 2 years old. Is there a way he can be updated with the latest information that is on the current Pal Mickey? I really dont want to buy a new one, just have it updated. Is this possible. Thanks

ok let me explain i hope this makes sense

I also have pal mickey version 1
Everytime you and your pal go somewhere (in this example let's say mk)
So you walk under the gates and pal mickey is hit with a sensor that updates him to new shows and show times etc.
While our 'old' mickey's won't be updated with all the new jokes/quizzes/songs he will have new showtimes and other new information

He will be updated with new show times and things of that nature but he will not receive new jokes,songs or information about rides that are new since the time you purchased him.. a great source of pal mickey information is Palmickey.net

We bought PM when it first came out (3+ years ago). When it updated last year at Epcot, it told us about Mission Space. However, it didn't tell us about Soarin' this year.

I suppose if that ride was already in the works when they made you pal that they may have had the information built into him. of course he didnt share that information until after the ride was open because the sensors in epcot that signel him to tell you these things wouldnt have been turned on yet.. I know the information for everest is supposed to be in the new pals already so when that ride is finished and those sensors are in place the new mickeys will give that information. I dont own pal mickey yet and wont until i get to disneyworld in oct but i get all my information from palmickey.net a site of very dedicated and informed pal owners..some of these people are very much "in the know" when it comes to pal mickey.
