Updates to Brits Guide 2008

Hi

Question for Susan or Simon...

We always use the Brit's Guide to Orlando and Walt Disney World as our bible when visiting Florida. As part of our planning, we work out our park schedule based on the book and the updated busy park guide on the askdaisy website.

We are starting to plan for our visit this summer and have noticed that the website busy day guide only shows up to December 2007. Any idea if this is going to be updated or whether the info is available elsewhere?

Whilst they wait for their new, all-singing, all-dancing website, the Busy Days Guide can be found here, although, as we speak, it still only extends to next month.

We are really struggling to keep up with things at the moment (it is the middle of our re-write process for next year, a VERY busy time for the Planners and we have the new Blog to keep going , hence some of our online updates are running a bit behind. We WILL get there in the end, though).

Hi Simon

I see you've got Thurs May 8th down as being light crowds. Is this the case even though it's an EMH day ?
I sooooo hope so because this is our first full day and I'd love to be able to spend it at MK. I had planned to avoid it and go to MGM because of the EMH.

Well I say "I planned" but we have ordered one of your planners (which I beleive Susan is preparing) and after studying your busy day guide in the book, I'm just assuming this is how it will be

You will prob find that it will be pretty busy that day, certainly in the morning due to the EMH. I would go on thr Friday if I was you, but there is no shows on that night so maybe do the wishes/spectro Thursday night.

alexandra, Disney tend to change things without notice and EMH may have (definitely have, in this case) changed or been added after the Busy Day Guide was posted. The 8th is now an EMH morning, so it's going to be busy.

The Busy Day Guide in the book is now a general reference, but Disney have been changing their EMH monthly for the past few years, so the Busy Days in the book aren't necessarily applicable to every month. That's why we do a monthly guide on our website. Their posted hours/EMH aren't set in stone as far out as they're published, which is why we don't post more than 2-3 months ahead.
