First, let me say I was already in the market for these things and the Disboards helped me make my final decisions. It in no way influenced me to purchase things that I wouldn't have bought otherwise.
1) Bagallini: I went ahead and got it using the codes everyone mentions (save10) on bagsbuy.com and also got the extra 10% off for signing up, so the bag was under $20. We're not going until the fall but I wanted to get used to it and see if I really wanted to take it. So far, it's been nice to have a "hands free" bag. I think having it on my back and having to spin it around to get things out is a hassle, but so is unzipping a regular purse or diaper bag, so it's really worked out fine. I haven't loaded it down--just wallet, keys, phone, water and some small snacks and it has NOT been heavy or hot.
2) Maclaren strollers: I found that albeebaby had the best prices due to NO TAX and FREE SHIPPING. I even had a BRU $20 off coupon and the tax and shipping made it MORE expensive from BRU. Based on the recommendations here I purchased a Quest Sport model and the 2008 (make sure your manufactured date says 2008--these are MUCH easier to find online than in stores) had the much coveted shoulder strap. It also comes with the rain cover, shade and shopping basket. It's very easy to push even with an older child in it, and, at 12.2 lbs it's very lightweight. FYI I have a Peg Perego P3 that is heavier but more plush to ride in. The Quest is easier to push. I also have a BOB dualie sport jogging stroller which I love but there is no way I'm taking that bad boy on a plane! And I have had a Peg Perego Duette in the past--VERY hard to push (though I hear the newer models now have a different steering system) but GREAT seating arrangements.
3) Shoes: I've bought the Chaco flip flops b/c they have arch support and are much more comfortable than going barefoot. So the reviews here were right on about them. I also have, and have recommended, the MBT tennis shoes and sandals. They are so comfortable that I hate to take them off at night and I find I even put them back on with my pjs until bedtime!
4) Tattoo identification for my children. I actually decided to just buy the paper and print my own. That way I can make what I want and use them for other outings as well: school field trips, etc. The paper is easy to find if you Google it. I bought mine from someone on eBay.
5) Rayshade UV protection for strollers. These haven't arrived yet but I know we'll use them at Disney AND at places like the zoo, etc.
6) Stroller fans. There were several kinds of battery operated clip on fans that I considered (a foam blade w/laser light, hard blade in a white cage from onesteapahead, and then I read that the ones from o2-Cool were great and they were the cheapest). So I ordered the o2-Cool last night. **UPDATE** I actually found these at my CVS and they were $3.99. So I bought 4 (in addition to the 4 I ordered). I just couldn't pass them up since they were on my "list." I figured I could use them this summer and not worry if they didn't make it to Disney since I have backups for the fall. Anyway, they work great. Good air blow and very light weight. The goose neck is sturdy but pliable. So I guess I now own 8 of these little things!
7) Car Seat travel bags by Childress. These are padded and will fit the upper end car seats. I found the best price online at Wal-mart AND they ship free to the store so I saved a lot there.
8) There are several other things that I've decided on but have not purchased yet, so I'll update when I do. Stay tuned.
So what products have YOU purchased as a result of a REVIEW you've read on the Dis (not really tips, though--more a comparison, your decision and resulting satisfacion)?
