First, let me say I was already in the market for these things and the Disboards helped me make my final decisions. It in no way influenced me to purchase things that I wouldn't have bought otherwise. :thumbsup2

1) Bagallini: I went ahead and got it using the codes everyone mentions (save10) on bagsbuy.com and also got the extra 10% off for signing up, so the bag was under $20. We're not going until the fall but I wanted to get used to it and see if I really wanted to take it. So far, it's been nice to have a "hands free" bag. I think having it on my back and having to spin it around to get things out is a hassle, but so is unzipping a regular purse or diaper bag, so it's really worked out fine. I haven't loaded it down--just wallet, keys, phone, water and some small snacks and it has NOT been heavy or hot.

2) Maclaren strollers: I found that albeebaby had the best prices due to NO TAX and FREE SHIPPING. I even had a BRU $20 off coupon and the tax and shipping made it MORE expensive from BRU. Based on the recommendations here I purchased a Quest Sport model and the 2008 (make sure your manufactured date says 2008--these are MUCH easier to find online than in stores) had the much coveted shoulder strap. It also comes with the rain cover, shade and shopping basket. It's very easy to push even with an older child in it, and, at 12.2 lbs it's very lightweight. FYI I have a Peg Perego P3 that is heavier but more plush to ride in. The Quest is easier to push. I also have a BOB dualie sport jogging stroller which I love but there is no way I'm taking that bad boy on a plane! And I have had a Peg Perego Duette in the past--VERY hard to push (though I hear the newer models now have a different steering system) but GREAT seating arrangements.

3) Shoes: I've bought the Chaco flip flops b/c they have arch support and are much more comfortable than going barefoot. So the reviews here were right on about them. I also have, and have recommended, the MBT tennis shoes and sandals. They are so comfortable that I hate to take them off at night and I find I even put them back on with my pjs until bedtime!

4) Tattoo identification for my children. I actually decided to just buy the paper and print my own. That way I can make what I want and use them for other outings as well: school field trips, etc. The paper is easy to find if you Google it. I bought mine from someone on eBay.

5) Rayshade UV protection for strollers. These haven't arrived yet but I know we'll use them at Disney AND at places like the zoo, etc.

6) Stroller fans. There were several kinds of battery operated clip on fans that I considered (a foam blade w/laser light, hard blade in a white cage from onesteapahead, and then I read that the ones from o2-Cool were great and they were the cheapest). So I ordered the o2-Cool last night. **UPDATE** I actually found these at my CVS and they were $3.99. So I bought 4 (in addition to the 4 I ordered). I just couldn't pass them up since they were on my "list." I figured I could use them this summer and not worry if they didn't make it to Disney since I have backups for the fall. Anyway, they work great. Good air blow and very light weight. The goose neck is sturdy but pliable. So I guess I now own 8 of these little things! :)

7) Car Seat travel bags by Childress. These are padded and will fit the upper end car seats. I found the best price online at Wal-mart AND they ship free to the store so I saved a lot there.

8) There are several other things that I've decided on but have not purchased yet, so I'll update when I do. Stay tuned.

So what products have YOU purchased as a result of a REVIEW you've read on the Dis (not really tips, though--more a comparison, your decision and resulting satisfacion)?

REally you can make your own ID tats? I was considering these or those bracelts that are similiar to the Livestrong one. Just wasn't sure yet on whcih way to go.

Do you know of anything that is a MUST for the trip? I haven't been to wdw in about 15 years and this will be my frist trip with kids.

1) Bagallini - I also purchased a bagallini last year for under $20. I used it on our trip to WDW last year and loved it. I also used it as a diaper bag.

2) Maclaren Volo - I had a Peg Perego Pliko stroller that we took last year. While I love my Peg, I was looking for something smaller and lighter. I kept reading all the great reviews from everyone and was lucky enough to find one at the Target baby clearance earlier this year for $50.

3) Crocs - Originally, I thought these were the ugliest shoes. I'm still not convinced that they aren't ugly, but they are sooo comfortable, I don't care what they look like. I now own 3 pairs of crocs (Malinda, flip flops, Cleo). I love them!

Ok here's my list of things for our trip in Sept.

98 cent fans from walmart kids can carry themselves

Misty Mate (the little hand held one)

"fanny" packs for the kids to carry to autograph books etc (clearance at Walmart)

Ponchos

Small backpack for myself

Pop-up hamper for dirty clothes (target dollar isle)

I am making shirts for my kids to wear

Since Disney Store was going out of business I bought some of the plush mickey and minnies for my kids; alot cheaper than at the park but doesn't say DisneyWorld but we don't care.

Photopass share

Think that's it for now.;)

1) Peg perego P3. I have a Chicco but I wanted something with a smaller fold and a stroller that will be comfy for DS while in Disney.

2) Pop up laundry holder from Target's $1 section. It is a clown fish like Nemo.

3) I'm still looking for some comfy Crocs

4) A backback to have in the parks rather than a diaper bag.

based on reccomendations here:

1. Body Glide...that stuff is $9.99 at our Dicks Sporting Goods. (It better work!)
2. Crocs...love them anyway!
3. Ponchos from the camping section at Wal-Mart...99 cents each, I think I have about 10!
4. Nightlight for the hotel room. Honestly never would have thought of buying one but with a little one it is a great idea.
5. Stroller Fan... now DS will be in luxury in August!
6. Skip Hop Diaper Bag... attaches easily to the stroller, plenty of compartments to organize everything..also bought a Mac Organizer and I hate it..if I can find it I will offer it as a freebie on here at some point.
7. Bagallini...didn't like it either (already got rid of it), I'm short and it just didn't sit right on me. I have a Vera backpack that I am taking, it's perfect!

man, this place is expensive!

4) Tattoo identification for my children. I actually decided to just buy the paper and print my own. That way I can make what I want and use them for other outings as well: school field trips, etc. The paper is easy to find if you Google it. I bought mine from someone on eBay.

Do you mind sharing the brand you bought?

Based on the Dis, I have bought cros, stuffed pretzels from my Schwann's man, and I'm in the process of buying the id tatts but if I can make them myself, that would be a big bonus!

So far, I have only purchased the cup/bottle holder for my stroller... though now DH has told me that were not bringing that stroller.... anyway. I also want to buy my girls some crocs because of these boards (mickey ones!).

1. Crocs Mary Janes

2. An entire room full of fabric and sewing supplies, thanks to the ladies on the disboutique thread!

3. Tourguide Mike membership

4. Moleskin (but I never had to use it)

I'm sure there's more!

1- Passporter (good but not my favourite- found it far too confusing how they rate every ride according to who they think it's suitable for- not enough fact, too many opinions, also thought the dining section lacked alot of menu info)

2- Unofficial guide to WDW (currently loving it but have alot more to read)

3- Crocs, i shall be buying them when we get there!

4- Maclaren question, I'm a babywearer daily but needed a stroller for dis

5- ADRs, I'd never have thought to make any based on the trip from my own childhood but now we have adrs for the castle, tusker house safari breakfast and chef mickeys

I have not seen the pop up laundry hampers from Target in their $1 section, but I will be going there today to get some! Thanks for the info!

I just wanted to warn you- I love my crocs now, but they took a couple of weeks to break in (along with a little help from some reshaping with my hairdryer)!

Ohhh- thanks for that, I shall be packing my hairdryer then LOL (they are significantly cheaper in America compared to England from what i am hearing- we pay around $50-60 for them here)

I thought of some other things-

Ziplock bags for easy diaper changes & keeping spare clothes per-child dry too.

Laundry bags- a couple of people mentioned buying the laundry bags so i can just throw them into the washer loaded with washing and get them out and into a dryer easier/quicker.

Also- big tip (which I genuine never ever would have thought of until I'd learned the hard way) i picked up the other day- put a poncho/raincovers over the stroller when you go into a ride so you're not coming out to a potentially rain-soaked stroller. :thumbsup2 It makes alot of sense but i doubt i'd have thought to do it until we'd experienced a wet stroller!

That's great to know: I have both the single and the double version of this bag so I'll save myself some money and use IT rather than buy the Maclaren organizer. Thanks!

I'm using ones for an INKJET printer. When I bought them from a seller on eBay I bought them by the sheet--so I don't know the brand. However, I think as long as you get them for your printer (either inkjet or laser) then you'll be fine. Do a Google or eBay search for, example, "inkject tattoo paper."

I bought a solarveil sling and an ellaroo just because too.

I own a MacLAren quest (this is my second Mclaren) but am bringing my jogging stroller because I prefer it with this kiddo as does he.

I am still going to be buying the o2 fans.

We have bought based on dis recommendations. . .

1) Body Glide - my husband loves it. I just ordered two more! (BTW - it is a deodorant type stick that prevents chafing and blisters)

2) Maclaren Volo - love it! Best stoller for an older child.

3) Crocs - DD and I love them! I also got MIL and FIL hooked but not DH.

4) Passporter - other guides have more info but love the maps and pockets!

That's all I can think of for now. . .

Just be careful with little ones wearing crocs around escalators - there have been quite a few injuries as a result of the shoe getting stuck in the moving parts. And if they are wearing them have them slip the strap to the front so there foot can slide out if the shoe was to get "grabbed" by the escalator.

OK here's my list:

1. Mac Volo--folds so small!!!

2. Passporter- great for organizing all confirmation #'s

3. Moleskin- a foot saver!:thumbsup2

4. Dollar store ponchos and glowsticks

5. Misting fans from walmart

6. Stoller fan--going to purchase for trip in August!

I know there's more.........

My list is beginning

Safetytat

Peg P3 Stroller..we rarely use one here at home, but she loves to take it to the mall..but we have what I call an 'SUV Stroller'...folded it barely fits in my trunk..so had to get a small one.

Still looking for the definitive bag to attach to the peg as well as accumulating gifts. I need more Disney themed clothing (Pjs) for her and then I'll be ready to go.

Love the ideas I have read about the gift baskets and such in the room..so that's on the list still to do.

I spend way too much time here..yikes!
