Updated: Ticket Prices increasing Tomorrow (CONFIRMED)

We've been holding out to see if Ebates does a bigger percentage cash back on activities. Cheaptickets is currently offering 6.88% back. Pretty good deal, but if Ebates does 10% or 20% like they did last year this month, it'd be worth the wait. We leave for our trip on 2/20, so I've just been holding out until the last minute to see. Of course, if a price increase hits before then, it'd be for not. I wonder if I should just get the tix through Cheaptickets instead of being greedy for the extra percent cashback. Ugh...what to do?

I've been waiting, too, but noticed that the next payout is on the 15th, I believe, so I'm tempted to wait only til right before then and then get tickets through CheapTickets since Orbitz hasn't budged yet...

Just FYI to anyone: parksavers offers a refund on tix up to 48 hours before your trip date. Their price was the best I found aside from the cheap tickets ebates rebate.

Im new to DL -- making our first trip later this fall.

Ive been to DW many times and purchased tix from places like Undercover Tourist and am trying to find a similar company for Disenyland.

I looked at the site for cheaptickets and the prices isnt too bad (a little less than I can get through "tickets at work" via my employer)....Can anyone vouch for them and are they good and reputable?

I have used them and have never had any problem. Plus the fact that cheaptickets it offering 6.88 cash back through ebates makes it a good deal (sometimes they have 10%-20%) cash back but with ticket prices rumored to increase anytime its probably not worth waiting for

Cheaptickets is owned by Orbitz, so they are definitely reputable. They have the same prices Orbitz does, but as neonderlyn said they have a better cash back option right now through ebates (6.88% for Cheaptickets vs. 1% for Orbitz).

Drove down to Anaheim and renewed yesterday. Didn't want to risk an $80 premium increase!

Well I just pulled the trigger (so to speak) and bought our PH tickets on Cheaptix through eBates and our dining tickets on Orbitz through eBates. Should get about $100 back from both transactions. Strange thing - I wanted one Character Dining and one Premium Dining and had to order them seperately. Oh well, got them though!! It's getting really real for us!

I'm pretty new in this e-bates deal. Going slightly off topic, can anyone confirm that they got some cash back for getting tickets from cheaptickets?

I got my cash back in my ebates account the same day, probably took about 3 hrs or so to show up.

I just got my renewal notice and I think it was either $10 or 20 off. Not renewing. Disney has out price me. I am now on the Dark Side (Universal).

Yeah, I left for the Dark Side a year ago. Couldn't handle it so I came back to the light. My husband and I now joke, "Just shut up and take my money." It's a Futurama reference, but it pretty much sums up what Disney's marketing (which I'm very familiar with) has done to me. I know it's price gouging, but I can't stop. They've trapped me in their synergy and I can't get out!

Like maaaan, where did my bees go? So sorry, I did not include the apostrophe this time, so those that are so inclined as to have a real ball with that, sorry, find something or someone else to make you feel superior. :)
Does the tag fairy know this new format is completly undermining her? :faint: Not good! The last time she was crossed, she turned the person responsible into a bull frog, and all of his minions into toadies. To this day, one will still find them either on a lilly pad on a rather large pond, this is in California, or sunbathing on its shore. You might even find all them froggies working on either getting a snack, or a meal. No not corn dogs, flies of course. They like all kinds of insects really and something that I am really not sure what catergory of gross it may fall into, or out of for that matter. :faint: So if you go looking for them, do them little toads a favor, and bring some tiny bugs for them to eat, ok?

One day, the tag fairy might end their curse, but not any time soon! So, just beware and very aware.

You're going to be too late to receive your money for the Feb 15th mail out. Any money earned between now and March 31st will be credited to your account but it won't actually be sent out until May 15th.

Oh well that's good to know. Thanks.
