So I just returned from my trip to Walt Disney World last week. I’m one of those people who loves scents around Disney, but I really love a lot of the resort scents. I posted an updated list last year and to be honest not much has changed. I should also add that I didn’t have time and wasn’t able to visit every resort on property, but I did visit most of them. I also happen to have a Scent Air diffuser in my house and Scent Air supplies the resort scents for Disney.

To begin, I stayed at Sports, and that was the only All-Star resort that I visited. The lobby had a faint scent, but I’m not exactly sure what it was. I stayed at Music last July and it was using the Green Clover and Aloe scent from the Beach Club which I found very interesting for a value resort. The only other resort tv at has most re t toy changed to Green Clover and Aloe is Port Orleans French Quarter. It was strong when I visited last Friday morning for Beignets!

Pop Century & Art of Animation are still using the same scent, which believe is Green Tea and Lemongrass from Scent Air. I haven’t purchased that particular scent yet, but that’s what I’ve read online. If you want a cheaper and very identical dupe, Bath and Body Work’s “Island Margarita” is basically spot on! I have it now!

Coronado Springs, Polynesian Village, and Caribbean Beach are all three still using a scent called “Hibiscus Passion.” Unfortunately, that scent isn’t available except for hotels and businesses. I have yet to find an identical dupe to it, although I’ve tried a few. Columbia Fragrance Co. has a new scent called “Paradise Found.” I bought it recently. It smells really good, but I can’t say it’s exactly either of those resorts. I also just bought a sample of “Island Breeze” from Scent Air, but it’s not the same. I’ve read some other possible similar scents are Scent Air’s “Kai Jasmine” and “Golden Bamboo,” but I haven’t tried either one yet. It seems like since Hibiscus Passion is the official scent, the closest you’ll likely find is one that isn’t quite exactly the same scent.

Riviera and Port Orleans Riverside are using Scent Air’s White Tea & Thyme scent. This is a really great scent and it’s pretty strong. I’m currently using it in my home diffuser and it’s spot on! Bowes at Disney Springs sells a dupe called “Resort Signature” and Columbia Fragrance Co. sells a dupe called “BoardWalk Bliss.” Both are also spot on!

Speaking of BoardWalk, it lacked a lobby scent last week and I’m not sure why. Same with Yacht Club. Grand Floridian also lacked any strong or noticeable scent. I’ve read that they changed the scent at Grand Floridian after the 50th and it’s no longer Green Clover and Aloe. I’m not sure how true that is, but it definitely didn’t smell like it to me. I will add though, the Chocolate Easter Eggs were on display and downstairs smelled strong of chocolate.

I’m not sure of the exact scent used at Animal Kingdom lodge, but Bowes “Safari Lodge” scent is spot on! As for Wilderness Lodge, it lacked a strong scent, but Scent Air’s “Santal and Red Cedar” is a similar dupe.

I didn’t visit Saratoga Springs or Old Key West, so I can’t vouch for those resorts unfortunately. I most recently visited Saratoga Springs last July, but it lacked a strong scent.

Lastly, is Contemporary. Contemporary (and Bay Lake Tower) previously used Green Clover and Aloe and then switched to the 50th Anniversary (“EARidescent”) scent most recently. I noticed last July and this past week that it seems to be using a new scent which non of the other resorts seem to be using. I’ve asked and tried to figure out what particular scent it is to no avail yet. Perhaps one of you know? If not, I’ll keep trying. Maybe one of you who is at WDW or staying at Contemporary soon if not now can as a CM and share your findings here with us? One of my Scent Air sample sticks that I just bought has a scent called “Ocean.” It’s a clean, fresh scent and it vaguely reminds me of Contemporary, so it’s a possibility.

I think that covers all of the WDW resorts. I’ll be back at the end of May, so I’ll try to update this list then!

I bought a Santal and red Cedar candle from Scent Air the day we got back from our Boulder Ridge stay at the end of January, and it is similar but not exactly the same. BRV had a strong scent but I didn’t notice it in the main WL building at all. I LOVED that scent, and this candles close but not exact.

Yeah, the main Wilderness Lodge doesn’t have a very strong scent. I noticed more of a scent at AKL when I visited. Like it hit me as soon as I walked in. Some other resorts lacked a scent like I said. But I believe it’s close.
