We just came back from Disney on 10/4 and I can't believe I just made another reservation to go back on 12/8 - 12/12. We saved 4 days of our hopper pass for next summer, but our friends are going in December and we decided to join them. :cool1:  :Pinkbounc

All total for my trip I am spending $536. I found airfare for $176 and the other ticket is frequent flyer miles. I had a hard time finding a room everything was booked up but I went to Expedia and was able to get Pop Century.

I have never stayed in Pop Century so any recommendations would be appreciated. :wizard: :teeth:

You will love POP. If you like quiet choose a top floor facing the lake (and views of fireworks!!). If you want to be near the food court the 50's are perfect. If you want a close room to your car we loved the 80's near the Rubik's cube. Be sure to check out the lounge with all the Christmas trees. We always eat an early peaceful breakfast with our own private Christmas tree. Have fun!

I've only stayed there once, and we were in the preferred building in the 60's section. Just wanted to say "Hi!" and we'll be there the exact same dates as you guys! We'll be at VWL, maybe we'll run into you!

We stayed in Pop Century last January and absolutely loved it!

We were the first two rooms, bottom floor in the 50's building. Pool was right outside, close to the food court and main building.

Our kids loved walking around and seeing all the oversized items.

The transportation worked well, the bus rides seemed quick and didn't stop at other resorts. The lines at the end of the day were long, but moved quickly.

We are going back in a few days and staying at the Port Orleans, we need the trundle bed option this year.

Enjoy!!!!! :teeth:

Thanks for all the info. Sounds like the 50's building would be just right for us. Especially since that is when we were born. Late 50's that is.

My husband being the great person that he is said it was ok to spend the extra money and stay at the Polynesian.

Disney again did not have any availability and neither did Expedia or any other travel site.

But guess what I went to USAIR vacations and they had both Garden-view and Lagoon-view available.  :cool1: :Pinkbounc

I can't wait. :cool1:
