I don't see any limit to the number of "Founding Member's" here and would be pretty upset if I purchased by the said date and was denied listing because I was the 163'rd Member.

Via regular mail, but only a few people have received it. It's so strange that there is NOTHING online -- no points charts, no info on the size of the villas, no mention that points are even on sale today...

Agreed ... and I haven't heard back from my guide today (though I think today is his 'Monday') ... so maybe just playing catchup.

Yes and yes.

You would get your '07 points for use after the opening. Your developer points are good elsewhere and have a shelf-life of 7 months.

And that is what the mailing said that we received today. DVC did not do the opening sales offer in a very classy manner. I expected a brochure with room design, point charts and the like -- similar to SSR. And to receive the notice on the afternoon after sales open strikes me as a bit odd

Thanks for all the info and the clarification of the "sleeper/recliner".

How perfect for my family. My oldest could sleep on the sleeper/recliner (I'm guessing one of those single sleep chairs?) and my girls could share the pull out sofa.

Not adding on right now, but who knows what the future holds?

Not to be a conspiracy theorist or anything- but maybe they leaked the info that way on purpose in hopes of creating a mad rush on opening day, all the while planning on continuing to use the tapestry as extra incentive to buy over the first 30 days.

This is correct.

However, I still don't expect it to be much more than 150 people. Here is my rational. There are only 35,000 AKV points available, divided by 150 points is around 233.333333 founding members, BUT, many Owners are doing smaller add-on right now, reducing the number of points. So I expect we will have about 150 or fewer founders anyway.

If the DVC 'finds' additional points, then all bets are off!

My guide said that even with the "hype" on here they expected it to be well into next week for the first 150 members and I agree.

Cruise the rest of the Disney fan sights. Nothing an AllEarsNet, nothing on MousePlanet, nothing on MouseSavers etc. I think this is the only fan site in a frenzy so I don't think we represent the world as a whole.

You're right the resort is 'null' Seems IT has more work to do. And where are those point charts?
