Updated: Going to DL on DVC points GC concierge any input?

Update, we booked a GC Garden View Concierge room. This is my secod trip to DL, stayed at PP with a park view last time. This is our first stay at a Disney concierge level. My first trip to DL was fabulous, then again we got into Club 33!!! Looking forward to see how Disney does concierge.

We'll be going to DL over the summer. We will be using DVC points. We are considering a concierge room. Does anyone have any input? We are un-decided as to which resort. Is concierge worth the extra points? I know there is a continental breakfast, cheese and wine in the evenings, and all day soda/coffee, am I missing anything? Is the spread worth it? Will breakfast offerings enough to hold me? Are the offerings strictly carbs? I am a hypoglycemic so breakfast is kinda important to me.

We haven't stayed in DL concierge, but we did stay in GC and PP. Both were very nice and we would stay in either again. We didn't use points for either stay, but paid cash.

GC has it's own entry into Cal Adv. PP has great views of CA. GC has great views of CA and DTD.

We stayed at the Grand Californian Concierge in May 2006. We enjoyed the entire vacation and the service was the best. Fireworks can be viewed from the Grand Californian concierge lounge.
