Speaking of TicketsatWork

Has anyone used prepaid Visa, MC or any Virtual gift cards?

I did see Payment Options

We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We do not accept Travelers Cheques or Personal Checks. All payments are in USD.

If you did the 5% red card discount for Disney gift cards as I think @FoxC63 is suggesting, that could still be a valid payment method for direct purchases on the Disney site.

My thought though is depends on if you want the cash or how you value the points. It's all YMMV and how you prioritize your spending. For me, earning 5x the points on my Flex lets me transfer to my Chase Preferred, which I could then use as a 6.25% return towards my flight for a trip.

Also, in potential blasphemy :D this category becomes really valuable for me in wanting to secure a Universal Orlando Annual pass before prices go up.

Oh okay, I got it. Thanks for laying it out. I recently applied for Chase Sapphire Preferred with their 90K sign-on bonus promo, so your reminder that the Freedom points can be transferred over is great! Have fun at Universal... I am hoping to do a combo World and Universal trip next year.

I was thinking with all the gift card offers you might be able to get a better discount than 5%. That's why I was asking where you shop.

Again, some peeps want to keep things simple and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Nothing. And not everyone has a BJ's and/or Sam's membership, and, and, and.

I typically buy DGC at Kroger during 4x Fuel (14%) and earn 5% on my CFF. So the I get the points @wilckepedia but there is more to it. We fill both vehicles at the same time to reach the 35 gallon limit and save $1.25 per gallon, that's another $8.75 in savings.

When it comes to Universal GC, those take more steps where prepaid & virtual cards play a major role, some of which are R&R deals.

Edit: I'm losing my mind, it is 35 gallons not 30 :crazy:

That really adds up--good for you! Unfortuantely the Safeways in our area don't have gas stations and hardly ever have extra rewards on DGC, so I rely on this thread to alert me to DGC deals at Sam's, BJ's, shopDisney and Target Circle. I am more than halfway there for next year's dues, well ahead of last year's pace, thanks to more frequent check-in's with this thread's postings!

Totally agree, you have to figure out the best combo for you in shopping habits and accessibility.

Every time a Kroger offer pops up I seriously get envious :tilt: and I KNOW that would be a game changer.
