Hmm, I don't think I've tried tracking it this way, August will be very interesting. Any one else use their phone to buy gc's at Rakuten?

Edit to add: Rakuten
Good news is this may have just been a case where it just went a bit slower than usual. Ended up triggering today. Was faster when I did it via mobile but triggered 10am today. Now lets just hope it holds!

Sorry to cause false alarm haha, but I do love trying to figure out these little programming nuances that can could resolve why it triggers for some but not others.

Target’s Expanding Our Military Discount to Celebrate Independence Day
Posted on June 16, 2022.

A step-by-step guide to get started

Are you active-duty military (including National Guard and Reservists), a veteran or a military family member? Thank you for your service and sacrifice. Let’s get you set up for your discount. Just sign into Target Circle and confirm your military verification. We’ll just need a document to confirm your military status (a Veteran ID Card, as one example). It’s smooth sailing from there and you can use the 10% discount on up to two separate transactions, online or in-store, June 26 through July 4. And since verification has already begun, you can begin the process now to get a head start. Get the full offer details. Link to article

Has anyone tracked how often Meijer has the $5 off $50 deal? I found out about it too late, and I live within walking distance of a Meijer. :worried: I see that they did it for Labor Day weekend last year. I hope we get another one before then!

I had an issue last week in store as well - went to the service desk and the person there called some Kroger line and waited on hold for 20 minutes to resolve my issue, 1200 fuel points credited immediately during his call.

I went to Kroger yesterday, CS didn't offer any help, told me I had to call which I did as soon as I got home. I followed the prompts, plugged in my Zip code, said first & last name and the automated system added my 2,000 fuel points. Easy.

Just out of curiosity, how is a $100 visa for $109.88, or a $75 visa for $83.94, or a $50 visa for $53.88 a deal?

Just a note of caution regarding the Amex offers at supermarkets (there was one offer for spend $50, get $5 credit up to 4 times and there was also an offer for spend $100, get $10 up to 3 times) - there are numerous datapoints on slickdeals that purchases at major supermarkets like Kroger, Publix, and Shoprite are not crediting and Amex customer service is claiming those stores are not eligible. My purchase from over a month ago for a $50 weis gift card at Weis Markets did not credit. The details of the Amex offer also say that gift cards are not eligible, so if you do have to call customer service, it is possible they won't credit you because of that. The point is, it may be worth it to sit this offer out as it probably isn't worth it wasting time fighting with Amex over $5.

I bought a radio flyer 3970 convertible stroll n wagon for Sherlock. I really miss taking him for walks and I'm sure he's tired of being in the house.

Minus the canopy and tires, I really like the features but was looking for something that could also be used with my bicycle but those were so very expensive. Can't wait to see how this works!

Yeah, it's a thing!

That's it for me folks, have a great weekend!

I’ve made 4 purchases that should have qualified so far. 1 shop rite, 2 Aldi and another shop rite. These were made in May. I got credit for 1 shop rite and just got credit for the 2 Aldi’s this week. So they are coming through, but they are taking over a month. I have not contacted Amex CS, so these are coming through by themselves.

The Vanilla Visas charge a fee, so there's money off the fee-- that's the deal, such as it is.

I don't personally think it's a great deal either, but if someone really needed five $20 VVs it may work for them!
