Can anyone tell me.. if I consulate cards onto my “main/physical card” and pay for a room, then cancel the room.. the money goes back on the card. Was it the initial card it was purchased as (pre-consolidated) or the card used to pay for the room (post consolidated). Does this make any sense? I’m going to get a $200 deposit back, and I’m not sure if it’s going to the card I used, or one of the multiple $500 cards I had purchased on Black Friday.

I believe the answer is yes as long as the refund will not push the card total over $1000. For instance if you paid for the room and then reloaded additional money to the card.

It will go back on original card number you paid.

Okay good. I have $0 on the card I used.. so I’ll watch it for the next week or two. If it doesn’t show up.. I’ll start checking the cards in my email inbox.

I assume you're talking about Disney Gift Cards. If so then the credit goes back to the card that was used. So if you combine multiple cards into one it will go back to that one card. However I would keep a few $0 cards just in case you lose one or one gets stolen. If either happens you can move the total to a card in your possession.

Yeah but the original card I paid with was not the original

yes, Disney gift cards. I posted it here because…. clearly people here use Disney gift cards a lot!
I have 3 physical cards I keep permanently, and I only take one with me to Disney. I move all money on to those three cards. Then when I go to Disney I move cash from the two secondary ones to my one “main”. That way the main card never has more then $100, and the majority is digitally moved from the two cards I have at home. But I wanted to make sure it’ll go to that card.. not the initial card I was sent from Sam’s.
Thanks!

I just opened up another Best Buy account with a different email and bought another card with PayPal. I tried to but a second card and it appeared to go through but was cancelled. I'll try again tomorrow after I let things cool off a bit.

If you transferred money from gift card A to gift card B and then paid Disney balance with gift card B but need refund it will go back to Gift Card B. If the gift card balance for B has close to 1000 there will be issues as Gift cards can hold max of $1000.

How to Add Money to Cash App Card With and Without Bank Account?
Updated 3 AUG, 2021 Direct link

How to add money to Cash App card from Credit card?

  • Definitely, Cash App supports almost all the credit cards from major banks. Also, Cash App users can make an online purchase using a credit card. But, you can't add money to your Cash App card from a credit card. Even if you have enough credit available on your credit card the task of transferring money from a credit card to Cash App is not possible.
How do I put money on my Cash App card at store without a bank account?
  • Worry not if you want to load money to your Cash App but don't have a bank account or temporarily lose access to a debit card. Gladly, even without a bank account you can add money to a Cash App card. How? Let me explain how it is possible. There are two ways to add money to your Cash App card without a bank account. One is to send a request to your Cash App contacts. And the second method involves visiting a store. Let's get into it in more detail in the coming section.
How to add money to Cash App card at Walmart?
  • I bet most of you must have heard about Walmart. Many of you do visit Walmart stores in everyday life to make all types of purchases. But, do you know that you can visit Walmart stores to add money to your Cash App card as well. Got surprised? Yeah it is true. In fact, not only the cash cards, Walmart can add money to many other debit cards of various companies. If you have an activated Cash App card and cash money you can do as mentioned below and add money to your Cash App card with ease of mind.
    • So, as a first step, first find out the nearby Walmart store on Google.
    • Now reach Walmart store within the working hours.
    • Tell the cashier available at the billing counter that you want to load your Cash App card.
    • If you are a registered customer of Walmart mention it to waive off the fee for adding money to your Cash App card. Else, be ready to pay a tiny fee.
    • After that, hand over your Cash App card with cash money to the cashier.
    • With the help of a card reading machine, the cashier will add money to your card within just a few seconds.
How to add money to Cash App card at 7-eleven, Walgreens and Dollar General?
  • Apart from the Walmart store, you definitely can add money to your Cash App card Walgreens, 7-elevan, and Dollar General store. However, let me clarify one more thing. All retail stores don't load the Cash App card with money. So, it is recommended to first call the store where you are thinking of visiting to reload your Cash App card. If the store representative says yes then reach the store without any second thought. The process to add money to your card at the store is the same as I have mentioned in the last section. Just get in touch with the cashier and request to add money to your card. That's all you need to do to add money to a Cash App card.

How To Add Money To Cash App Card at Walgreens and Dollar General Store? Direct link

Cool! I wasn't interested in surrendering any bank information. I have no issues going to Walgreens or CVS and handing the cashier cash.
I’d tried this once at our dollar general and they had no idea what I was talking about. I’ll try Walgreens.

I'm striking out with the Best Buy offer! I was successful 2 days ago and got 2 gift cards! I haven't been able to make another purchase with either my personal or business accounts (24+ hours later). They keep getting cancelled because my order has "exceeded our orderable quantity limits". Oh well!

I just bought 2 more Disney GC from BB successfully. That's 2 per day for the past 3 days for a total of 6 purchased. Will keep trying daily. I am waiting a minimum of 24 hours from the last purchase. I'm using the same BB account & the same CC to make payment.

So I decided to play a little today. I tried to check out 5 minutes before 24 hours and got the error message. Waited another 15 for good measure, opened an Incognito browser and was able to get 2 cards in quick succession. Then I went to another PC, logged in to my wife's account and did 2 more with Paypal using the same card. Wish I had thought of that yesterday! I did get the e-mails for all 4, so should be in the clear.

I work nights, so I when I first read of the BB offer, I gave it a shot. I only ordered one card at a time on 1/19. Same account with same CC.

1st order confirmed @ 02:37 am
1st order card received @ 06:46 am

Then work and life got in the way...

2nd order confirmed @ 11:27 pm
2nd order card received @ 11:33 pm

I'll let you know when my next successful purchase happens.

I was able to purchase 2 $50 DGC from BestBuy in 2 separate transactions (same account, email, & credit card). :-)
I was not able to purchase another DGC on the same computer I used on Monday. Today, I moved to a different computer. I was able to purchase 2 $50 DGC from BestBuy in 2 separate transactions (same account, email, & credit card). But I had to use 2 different browsers. I might try a third computer later today?

Yeah, i think it's session/cookie based. If anyone is having trouble I'd try using private/incognito/secret-squirrel-society mode.

Amusingly, i now check the best buy website first thing each morning to see if the deal is still live. Guessing this is our last day.

Me too. I have no issues buying 2 a day. I am using a Best Buy account I have had for years.

I just purchased my third BB DGC. One Monday, one Tuesday and one today. Skipped yesterday because I don't really need any gift cards but FOMO prevailed. Same BB account, same credit card, different browsers on the same computer.

Seriously, call first. I called 3 CVS stores and only one confirmed they could load the funds. I'll call Walgreens today when I have time.

@Aela, Just wanted to make sure you understand, @MMSM is absolutely correct here.
After you consolidated your Black Friday $500 gift cards (A) into your “main/physical card” (B), then used gift card B towards ANY purchase/room deposit, it then becomes your Original Method of Payment.
Refunds go back to the Original Method of Payment, so be sure not to add any more money to Gift Card B.

If it doesn’t show up.. I’ll start checking the cards in my email inbox.
This is why I'm responding, your Black Friday gift cards have nothing to do with getting your refund. You didn't use them to secure the room, you used your “main/physical card” - that's the card you should focus on and nothing else. You can always verify your balance on Disney Gift Card.com.
