Oh Yum, this sounds so good! I have a really good pumpkin bread recipe but I love it so much, I am afraid I would gain 10 pounds if I made it.

Stacie, I am getting ready to review my buzz tips that you gave us in anticipation of my bday trip tomorrow. I am determined to raise my score! It won't be too hard because it is pretty darn low right now!

I :lovestruc Starbuck's Pumpkin Spice lattes - yummy! I have indulged in a few already (welllll - almost one a day ).

Tracey - can you share your pumpkin bread recipe?? I'm not much of a baker, but every now and then I like to suprise the guys with a treat :thumbsup2

Thanks Stacie!
i'm going to have to try that.

I have all the ingredients for Disney Pumpkin Muffins, and I can't wait to make them. The problem is it is still in the 90s here, so it's hard to think about baking just yet.

I know what you mean! I made the latte and should have iced it, it was a little warm to drink while it's 90 here, too!

I even made the vanilla syrup myself, very easy!! 2 cups sugar, 2 cups water; boil until thickened; add 2 T pure vanilla extract; cool. DONE! It's kind of thin so next time I may put less water in. Definitely don't need more sugar!!

Okay, I might have missed this so I'll ask. Is anyone going to get the Fantasmic tickets for our group or are we all getting our own? We can get them on September 24, right?

Stacie - we can all get our own tickets because you just have to wait at the podium together to get seats together - doesn't matter when you buy the actual tickets (don't have assigned seating then). We should be able to get them on September 24 :thumbsup2

Jesse is getting so excited now too - woo hoo :thumbsup2 I'm taking him to Blue Bayou for dinner (he's never been) on Thursday night. The parks close at 9 p.m. that night though - boo!

I saw that the French Market is supposed to have some cool Halloween stuff then too - the stew in Zero's dog bowl, that kind of thing. We may have to check it out :thumbsup2

Good luck! And make sure you email your picture(s) so you can post them on here!! Remember: Triangles, then Diamonds, then Squares, then Circles; and hit Zurg's chest!!

Zoe has decided to be half angel/half devil this year. My mom is making the costume.

A COUPLE ORDERS OF BUSINESS

Billy Hill & the Hillbillies - Basing my educated guess on the previous week's schedule, it looks like the show will be at 11:15am.

Dinner @ the Plaza Inn - We need to set a time to meet up. Any suggestions?

Fantasmic! Dessert Seating - Does the group want the early or later showing? I know one of you will make the reservation and when you do please let me know so I can put the info in the first post

I'm thinking we want to do Plaza Inn around 8-8:30pm, right?

I would rather do early for F!, but I'm open to either. Since we're all making our own reservation, we do need to know which time!!

Edit: I went back and looked at the schedule and if we want to do Fireworks and F! on the same night, we have to do the late F!, right?

If you do the early F!, you get the seats for the fireworks as well - but obviously not in front of the castle.......

But if we're eating at the Plaza Inn with the intent of watching the fireworks, the early reserved F! seats wouldn't work out time wise: F! 9pm, fireworks 9:25pm. Whereas if we do dinner at about 8pm and watch the fireworks, we can be over to the F! seats by 10 for the 10:30 show. We probably won't be able to eat any of our desserts but we can save them for later... YUMMY!!

Don't underestimate me. I might be able to eat a macaroon or two. :thumbsup2

I agree, I think the late seating will be the only one to work with the schedule.

well holy cow...where have I been? I have not logged into the Dis in quite a while and look at all the fun I'm missing out on! I want to come out and play, but before I figure it out, are any things full already or is their space available on everything listed?

You girls know how to have fun and the agenda's get bigger & better every time :)

Hey Jill--good to see you! I think most everything is "open" -- the only exception might be Ms. Sally's b-day party.

Any chance of us going to one of the later Billy shows, like the one at 1:00 or 2:35? (Those are listed on the previous Saturday).

I would vote for the 2:35 show, and here is why:

The first 2 shows will most definitely be packed because of lunch.
If we meet in front of the Horseshoe at around 1:25, we'll be there 5-10 minutes before the 1:00 show ends.
As the crowd leaves the building when the show ends, we will make our way up to the front row, so I can get a good look at that gloroius hunk 'o man! :lovestruc

Once we have our tables, we can take turns leaving to get food, FPs, bathroom, etc. We'll have about an hour to have snacks, visit, whatever.

What do you all think?
