Updated B2B tips/ideas

You can hold multiple placeholders, and buy two per cruises, but all the placeholders bought on the same cuise must be used together. In PP's case, they would be bought on separate cruises, and can therefore be used to buy two different cruises.
I know this is accurate according to DCL, but we lucked into an exception…perhaps an accidental one on DCL’s part.

I purchased two placeholders on our last cruise, planning to book two rooms on the same cruise. Then we decided on a B2B so we could cruise seven nights and experience the Wish as well. Elaine E. from Dreams Unlimited was able to use one placeholder on each cruise in our bookings.

Here’s a question for anyone who has gotten upgrade from guest services during a B2B, did you pack your room thinking you might get an upgrade or did you leave everything because you weren’t sure? Just trying to figure out what my best strategy should be. If you could get an upgrade and you didn’t pack, what happened?

Has anyone had experience with doing a B2B but adding an additional person to the stateroom for the second cruise? We did online checkin already and picked a later time since my son is arriving by train that morning, so I assume we will wait until the three of us are together and board at our designated boarding time.
