LOL....i'm sure you didn't mean this to come out as you posted it, but it sure was funny.

a lot of people are asking why the dr. won't induce if she is so far dialated. Its probably not only that she is 4 weeks early, it is probably also that he does not want to induce a VBAC. inductions of VBACs have been known to increase the chances of uterine rupture, so most dr.s will avoid it.

Hi everyone. Just thought I would update you on my boss.

Around 4, she just felt this incredible urge to push.

I never understood how could be... until I had my first. That urge is nature at its strongest!

Hi everyone. Just thought I would update you on my boss.

On Saturday, she felt uncomfortable all day. Around 4, she just felt this incredible urge to push. She really wasn't having contractions, she just felt weird. Her husband threw her in the car and rushed her to the hospital. They got her in the front door of the hospital and she couldn't get any further. She had the baby right there in the vestibule on a bench:eek:

They were at the Physical Therapy entrance, so a doc there attended to her while a doc from maternity rushed down. The nurses held up sheets around her. Everyone was fine afterwards. It was a baby boy, 8 lbs. 6 oz. He was 18 days early.

Just thought I would let everyone know how it all turned out.

I"m glad to hear it turned out alright. Congratulations to her and her baby. :)

WOA - what a roller coaster ride. I think, and just my opinion, that they had the due dates wrong all along. That is a very healthy weight for a baby that was supposedly early.

Congrats to her! (and to you since you won't have to listen to her anymore! ;) )

Not to say that her dates weren't wrong, but my daughter was 15 days early and was 8 lbs. 4 oz. and 20 1/2 inches. Of course, my dates could have been wrong too, but 2 ultrasounds confirmed that while she was at the larger end of the spectrum for her gestational age, she was within the normal range.

That does sound funny! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I'd have to reread my post, but I'm assuming I meant "normal stuff". Maybe all this talk got me to thinking about sex. lol

Of course the "normal sex" is what got me into trouble all four times! :teeth:
