This is me, Debra.

I have a wonderful husband and together we have 5 wonderful kids. We love our family very much and our kids are the center of our universe. I work part time as an engineer and my husband is an architect who also does watercolors on the side. Between our jobs, our children, and our friends we are very busy and yet so blessed.

The youngest of our Clan is Tau. He turned three on our trip. Besides his birthday, he celebrated being potty trained

Unfortunately, due to our divorces and issues with them we have decided to not post pictures of our other children. You may find them hidden here or there but most of their pics will either be tiny, blurry or outdated. Sorry! But just to prove that we do have 5 kids here is one of them together

To catch you up my DH took a new job right in the middle of my Disney planning. After switching our dates a few times, he finally settled on June so I continued with my planning. Then he said he couldn't take off an entire week so I told him I was going with or without him.

Before the trip even began I committed a big DisBoard sin. I am so ashamed. I should probably go talk to my preacher.

In the middle of all my planning, packing, laundry, cleaning, filling in the pages of my planner with driving directions, good rest stops and touring plans, making stroller swap arrangements, checking my budget, making sure I had enough cash, etc I felt that I was missing something.

I had been to the store. I checked my bags. I checked my kids bags. But I still felt that I was forgetting something. So I decided to check my list.

Then it hit me.

I didn't have a list.

Embarrassing, I know.

So I quickly printed out the list from last year and hoped that not too much had changed. Luckily it hadn't. Since Tau was potty trained I could take off some items. But I still couldn't believe I forgot to make a packing list.

I really hope this isn't a glimpse of what the trip will be like.

Finally Friday came and I was oh so happy to be at work. Nothing could get me down today because we were leaving right after work to drive to My favorite place on earth. But then Melody (my BFF from HS) texted me.

**Side note** The plan was for me to drive down with the 5 kids on Friday June 5. We would have a girls weekend through Sunday with my two BFFs from HS (Melody and Jenna). DH would fly down on Wednesday. And we would all drive back together. The kids and I would then be staying for a total of 9 nights. **End of Side Note**

So Melody texted me and said she had to cancel. She was having a nervous breakdown that very moment. I was sad but she was ok so I was determined to have a good time anyway.

Then Aunt Flo started knocking on my door and apparently she wanted to come with me on this trip. I was mad because I did not want her to come.

Work was slow and my manager and boss were both gone for the afternoon. I thought I could sneak out early until the safety officer told me we would be having a fire drill that afternoon and that I needed to fulfill my manager's duties since he wasn't there. The fire drill would be at 3:45. So much for leaving early seeing how I get off at 4:00.

But alas there would be some good news as the safety officer returned to say he would perform the fire drill at 3:15 instead. Woo hoo that is 30 minutes earlier that I would get to leave!

I know you showed me how the last time, but it was more than five minutes ago, so it is history now. What do you mean, Aunt Flo was knocking on your door wanting to go??????? I thought she checked out a while back. Is she trying to pull a fast one or what? Oh, by the way, I think I am going to start saving to make a trip to YOU KNOW WHERE in October during school fall break. I would like to stay on-site somewhere, and get in on the free dining . So, of course I will definitely need all your planning and organizing skills to make sure it all gets done. I think my rich uncle is about to get out of the poor house.......or maybe my ship is about to come in.......but with the way my luck runs sometimes, I will probably be at the airport when my ship comes in. Got to get out of here again, things are running wide open already this morning., and I am ready for my next cup of coffee. I'll talk to you later. Bye, now, ya'll come back again, sugah
