When I had an ultasound today, I was told I have a rather large cyst, but that it's easy to treat. That parts good, but there's still a possibility of having an operation to remove it. That part's not so good. yipe.

Angie, I had an ovarian cyst the size of an egg around Christmastime. It dissolved completely on its own within a month. My doctor told me that is far more common than having it removed. Surgery only occurs in a very small percentage of cases. As hard as it is, please try not to worry.

DW has had two cysts just like the ones that you are describing. Although both cysts disappeared without surgery, they were painful. The doctor told her that it's likely she's had many more that she didn't know about. I hope that yours turn out positive like DW's.
