Just noticed... the person that is right before me has the tree.... no one between me and them (with the exception of bell services... LOL) WE ARE NEXT!!!!!

Ok... I feel better now. Just amazingly excited about this whole trip. HRH, BWV, MVMCP and our own Chirstmas tree.

I have already decided it will go out on the balcony (BWView). That way we can enjoy it, and everyone strolling around can enjoy it.

Oh yeah, I think way too much!

For some reason some of the trees have been moved by bell service when the trees have been dropped off with bell service. PLEASE, check bell service first, front desk, then ask about the mail room and last concerige. If you are staying concerige please tell bell service not to keep the tree in concerige because the next family is not staying in concerige. Thank You, Happy Holidays !

Just wanted to report that the Saratoga Springs tree was waiting for me upon arrival! I did not even have to ask for it. The CM seemed to have a message on her screen about it and went in the back and got it for me. Upon checkout on Monday, my DH and I were standing in front of the bell services desk outside the carriage house and we were doing airline and baggage check in. I had the tree in its box with my luggage and planned on bringing it to the front desk for the next family after I gave the bellman our bags. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a guy picking up the tree and reading the label. I said, "Hey, you aren't by chance the Ferguson family?" It was! It was Owterbanks himself and I was able to personally hand him the DIS Board tree and chat with him for a while!

The tree was a surprise for my husband who was really impressed at the kindness and honesty of strangers, right down to the donated ornaments and the money left for postage. (There's $6.00 so far in the envelope.) We enjoyed having the tree to come home to at night. WDW is unbelievably magical and beautiful during Christmas and I'll have to post a report later!

We gave the tree to "goofyforlife" and family last night! (We hated to see it go, and hated even more to come back to Ohio and cold and snow!)

We too had no trouble getting the tree and it seemed that there was a note on the computer when we checked in because the CM knew right away that we would be getting a tree.

Best wishes to all who have yet to receive a tree. I loved reading the little notes that people have written regarding this great Disboard tradition!

Yay! Today is our turn for VWL tree #2. We're just getting ready to leave for the airport...I am so excited!!!! Hope all goes well in getting the tree, we won't have access to a computer for the next 10 days.

We just loved having the OKW tree! It was cute in the room; my kids used its lights as their night light camped out of the sofas. I like having the lighted garland on the balcony even more. Our room faced the main drive, so I could see them welcoming us home each evening after the parks!

We are here.. just logged into the net a minute ago though... having a great time!! We got our tree no problem! It is on top of the TV in the living room, not plugged in and not decorated!!! Maybe I will plug it in tomorrow. I did do up our balconies (we have 3) with lots of lights though, and they look great!!! We are all the way on the end near Jellyrolls on the 4th floor. We ate dinner at Cape May tonight and it was neat to see our lights from across the lake. Loved it.

It is chilly chilly chilly, but so far no real rain so we are tickled!

Ok... Epcot Fireworks are about to start so we need to get the kids outta the tub!

For all of the fellow DVCers who have dropped a line regarding use of the tree, I thank you!! It seems that so far no one has had a problem with this tree, let's keep our fingers crossed! This is the first time I have done this, so I am really happy that it is working out so well! Very busy with the holidays and getting ready for my own trip to the World (leaving 12/25!), but I will be in touch with each and every one of the OKW tree #1 users when I return! I'm sooo excited. Need a room recommendation though. Will have Boardwalk view 1bdrm 25-30th,then moving to a BWView studio for 30th-1st.
