I just thought since today is Dec 1st, we could share our trees....

Here are ours... (we have two only because the fatter one was too fat for the Blanchan house last year during the remodel, so we bought a tal skinny one, and since I HAVE two trees, we put two trees up!)

The #2 Okw should be shipped around this time, it is our last tree to be shipped down. I beileve the first family for okw 2 tree arrives on dec. 7th.
we dont want the tree shipped to early for bell service to misplace it, we have to time the shipping just right.

IT HAS BEEN SHIPPED! There are two separate boxes -- a tree box and an ornament box... I'm not sure if you have all been properly forewarned... this is a 6' tree. (We put it on the balcony last year because we only had a studio... it is beautiful out there even!!) It is being shipped UPS and should arrive on December 6th or 7th.

Thanks again to Gail & Joe for sharing the tree with us! We packed it up and added a list of the next members to enjoy the tree to the outside of the box. When I tried to leave it at Bell Services, they said it was best to leave it in the mail room or it will get lost (maybe that's how it got lost the first time? ) so I hope the next members have an easier time receiving it!

We just got back late last night from OKW. We had tree #1 and it was gorgeous. I will try to post a pic later today. Mrsswat, I thank you for helping to make our stay even more magical. The tree was perfect and the garland for the porch worked out great. Thanks for adding the little "extras". You thought of everything. We left money for the shipping home but if it wasn't enough, please let me know.

When we arrived at the resort we told Bell Services that there was a box waiting for us and they said that they hadn't recieved anything yet. I explained to them that it would have been left by another family that was staying there before us and he said that they would look again. We left for the parks and when we came back the box was with our things so it worked out perfectly. We had such a great time and the tree just added to the holiday spirit. My girls thought it was the bestest thing ever - lol.

This is a great idea and I hope that it will run as smoothly for everyone as it did for us.

A 6 footer? WOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

I just lubs Christmas trees! Got ours up and doing lights today. 1/2 of them didn't work so had to hit WalMart! $285 later we're all good and have enough for the yard, too! Even snuck in a few present for the kids (who were with me!) and some groceries to boot! Not gotta go get the last 1000 lights on the tree!

lights, gifts, groceries dont you just hate that...... one stop shop super target, super walmart.... I dont have a problem shopping for lights, gifts and then go to the grocery store . but to be sticker shock two baskets later......

We have the tree before goofyforlife and we're planning to pass the tree without having to box it as well. I'll leave a note for myself to mention to them that you too would like to get it from them that way. Glad to hear people's excitement about the six footer! Next time let's find a more convenient place to ship from, though... Minnesota was quite the spendy trip for our little (big) tree guy!

Sounds good! We have a ADR at 10:15 (I think) that morning which we may or may not make. It's CRT so I hate to cancel (it was the only day we could get!) but we're *supposed* to get the cat from the kennel by noon....hour + for breakfast, 70 minutes of driving = late for the cat!

Anyways, we will be closing on a house next month and need to cancel our January trip. Please take us off the list. Maybe next year we'll get to participate.
