I had the same dream....I loved the show and thought it was great. I am glad I videotaped the whole things so I can watch it whenever. I enjoyed the show and it was different. I was video taping and sitting next to the rails where the roller blade around when one of the skaters started playing with my hair and I turned around and he was making faces for the camera. It was great.
WDWMagic is reporting that a Finding Nemo show will replace Tarzan Rocks. As the only person in the world who thought that Finding Nemo was overrated and Pixar's worst film to date, this rumor doesn't excite me all that much. But, the fact that the theater is going to be enclosed could mean that this new show would be in the vein of Voyage to the Little Mermaid which is my favorite show in the park (it's so well done).
We'll see what happens. Rumors are abounding. [/B]
Just wanted to add that we'll miss this show. We watch it every time we go.
We'll just have tp trust that Disney don't disappoint with the replacement.
Boy would my kids love a Brother Bear I hope that rumor is true. It's one of their top favorites, just watched it last night again. Love the music, humor, etc. I like Nemo alot but would rather see Brother Bear myself.
So I was confused. I'm hoping it's january b/c my DD3 loves the Tarzan soundtrack and she dosen't remember seeing it from last time(she was only 12 mo). She's looking forward to seeing it, so if anyone can tell me when it's closing I'd appreciate it. Crossing my fingers for January 06.
I like the songs in Tarzan Rocks, but when we saw it the musical cast was not very good -- certainly not up to Disney standards. It's been five years at least since we saw it, and I've heard that there were different casts, so perhaps we caught the bad one. A couple the songs were hard to listen to, quite frankly.
Don't think we disliked it b/c we don't like rock -- my DH has played rock and roll for years and my DS is also in a band.
I agree, good riddence. Saw the show once and hated it. Look forward to a Finding Nemo show if it is true. The place looks a little too big for that though.
Like someone else said, Mouseplanet.com is now reporting that Tarzan Rocks will not be closing until January '06. And, also like someone else said, I can't see why they'd put a Nemo show in there since it doesn't fit the theme of either Asia or DinoLand.
