Update: Resort change!!! Second guessing myself about our Christmas resort choice....

With all of those considerations noted, I would stay put. 2 reasons

1) that's busy season, and I can't imagine them sharing busses since the parks will be filled to capacity.

2) I was just at AoA 3 weeks ago and the LM rooms are FAR from the bus stop. FAR! They are really really far out, and a good 5-8 minute walk, which may not seems far now, but at the end of a long day, it will be frustrating as heck! Movies is a lot smaller, and like you said, it will be new to you.

one year we had a room in the mighty ducks section which was great to have a pool right there without paying preferred price. and more often than not, we walked over to music to use their bus stop and food court!

I really think the Allstars sharing buses thing gets way over blown. They only share when it is really slow and we never waited more than 5 min for a bus from anywhere. Even when they did share it literally is two minutes to drop off or pick up another resort and they are right in a row.

I was so anxious over buses when we were planning our trip to ASmovies and it was for nothing. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I agree. The Pop buses were always crowded with people standing and it was normal to have to wait for a 2nd bus. The ASM buses were far less crowded. There were always dedicated buses going to the parks, and there were only shared buses returning to the resorts during non-peak times.
