Remember me posting several days ago about DH taking me to New York City for my birthday this weekend to see INXS and I was reluctant to go?

Well, I got on board with it and got excited about the trip. The tickets came in the mail today, and guess what?

The seats aren't together! In fact, they're directly across the hall from each other! DH is going to have a fit, because I know he thought the tickets were together.

Can I go cry now? :sad2:

are you sure - some of the smaller and or older venues do "odd" seats on one side and the "evens" on the other.

I didn't get a chance to see INXS in Chicago last weekend - I was even looking for any two seats in the venue. THe way I'm dancing and singing, I don't even talk or look at DH while were at a concert together anyway

Yes, I'm pretty sure. I got on the concert hall website and looked up the seating arrangement.

I'm sorry you missed the Chicago show. :guilty:

Is one seat better than the other? Go to the one that's not as good and see if someone will switch with you and get the better seat. Once the concert starts no one's going to be sitting anyway, so just stand together at one of the seats.

Don't cry!!! Maybe your DH can work this out.

You should still go either way though. But then the thought of going to New York sounds exciting to me right now.

That sounds like a good idea. I think one is a good bit farther back, so maybe that would work!

I'll trade you! We're getting some winter weather advisories for the day we have to leave. If it gets too bad, we might not even be able to make it there.

Doesn't it figure? I didn't want to go in the first place, but now that I want to go, things are starting to go wrong.

Well, we're not going to NYC now! ARGH! The tickets are just going to be a loss, unfortunately. We've been keeping an eye out on this snow storm, and it's definitely going to be right in our path.

Instead, we're going to go west towards Ohio, then head up to Cleveland to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. We'll still get some snow in that area, but nothing unmanageable.
