Update Post #14-DVC Slider for MB

Just talked with DVC MS asking about DW's slider.
They are just now testing sending these sliders out starting with reservations that start after 5/11/14.
I was told a note is being placed on my reservation that DW needs one and it can be picked up at the front desk upon check-in.

I have a reservation for 5/16 but no slider...maybe I should call

I think they are only decorative.

They warn the CMs that there is an "entitled" DVC member approaching.

LOL, no seriously, they are strictly decorative as far as I know. I don't know if they'll ever use them to let members get their discounts and benefits, but it's always a possibility I guess. But I'm sure they'll want something more definitive than a slider for a discount. LOL

We check in on May 13th and didn't receive the DVC sliders either. So, I'm wondering if we can get them at check-in.

A few posters have contacted MS and were told that the resort would have the DVC Member sliders. No guarantees.

We check in on May 17. Got our MB last week but no DVC sliders.

We have check in dates for May 16th. I received my MB this week. No sliders. MS say I can request the DVC sliders when we check in since guest services have extra for DVC members checking in!

We got sliders for our May 22 check-in at SSR. DH and I did, along with our son (2 years old). On another note, DH and I also got AP sliders with our AP MBs that arrived a few weeks ago.

Checked into VWL on April 24th and received three MBs with DVC sliders even though I'm the only. DVCer.
