Hi everyone-
Yesterday my family had, what was going to be, a huge picnic. A couple hours into it, my brother ran in to get his EMTstuff and screamed that there was a head on collisionabout 2 houses down and to c ome get what he yelled we needed...After we ran towels, blankets, and umbrellas back and forth, my cousin came and tookme in the other room and told me it was a firemen my dad works with , who was on their way to our house. his daughter and niece were also in the car...

At that point, it looked pretty bad..they had us move all of the cars out of the way because they were planning on landing a helicopter. They ended up just going in an ambulence...(The people in the other car were okay )

This is the latest update, as of last night ..
the dad had internal bleeding, most likely from the stomach, not the brain, as they had originally though. He has a broken pelvis, fractured rib, punctured lung..He just got through surgery for the bleeding and will go again on Monday. His daughter may have a minor head injury as well as a spleen laceration. The other girl in the car has a possible broken ankle and leg, as well as broken pelvis. All three are considered tobe in stable condition. I saw the car they were in after they left and it was hideous..i broke down crying looking at it ...Luckily, we were having the picnic and we had many cops and firemen that they went right down to the accident scene..its so hard when we knew it was someone coming to the picnic..i love this guy..please keep them in your thoughts and prayers..

Thanks everyone--ill update when i can..my dad just left to go to the hospital now
