LOL - yes, I suppose we do...but there aren't really any other alternatives, are there? We just do what we have to do and move on to the next thing.. Believe me - I have my times when I get down about this stuff and whine a bit - but then I think about others who have problems MUCH worse than ours and it tends to "ground me" and get me back on track again..

We'll be fine - all of us.. I mean how could we NOT be with all of you praying, sending good thoughts and sprinkling us with pixie dust?

As my Mom always said, "Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans..." LOL

C. Ann, I was just going over my Dis prayer journal, and came to you daughter and said a quick prayer for her regarding her earlier situation this year. I will add an additional note about a new diagnosis and I know God will know what I'm praying for.

You are so strong and I know you will all get through this new stuff. I do hope your trip will not be postponed or cancelled.

Prayers and pd sent from out west for you, your dd, her husband and your dgd.

DD's DH just called and said there's a good possibility that DD will be coming home on Wednesday!!!!!!!! He said she's in great spirits and very excited.. For a fleeting moment I worried that they might be releasing her too soon, but this is a top notch hospital (more along the lines of a "private" hospital) and we have great faith in them based on personal reccomendations as well as the top notch care and treatment she is receiving there..

She will come here to the lake with her family on Thursday and stay until Monday.. Her birthday was last Wednesday and although we all went to see her (me, her DH, her DD, her in-laws) it wasn't much of a "party" atmosphere.. I think I'll plan a little something for here on Saturday..

I realize that this is just one tiny baby step down a very long road, but we're going to make it - ALL of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
