My sneaky wife organised an overnight stay in Paris for my Bday next month, minus the children, thanks to the in-laws. Unsure where exactly, close to ETower. Her "suggestion" we could turn the second day into a "quick trip" to Magic Kingdom… This is could do, has already become a "must do"

So, I have a few questions:

1. Would be have to return to the Eurostar station we arrived at, or can we just hope on the DLP stop to take us back?

2. Hoping to travel very light, but is there anywhere we could store our bag(s) for the hours we are in the park?

3. Any must do's? We have both been to WDW a number of times now, so will not put the same rides at the top of the list. Like to see the updated Pirates..

TIA

What a lovely surprise and finishing it off to a visit to Disneyland Park.

I'm fairly sure that your Eurostar will be a return to Paris so unfortunately you would not be able to board at DLP.

There is storage area at guest services before you enter the park so you'll be able to leave your luggage there :)

I've not been to WDW but those that have rate the DLP versions of Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain2.
Remember that Disneyland Paris is bigger than Magic Kingdom :goodvibes
Another favourite is the dragon beneath the castle :)

The Guest Storage area is on the right hand side of the entrance to the Disneyland Park and it costs about 2.50 euros per item.

Definitely do Thunder Mountain as it's better than the WDW version and Space Mountain is very different!! Sadly though, if you were hoping to see Captain Jack, the DLP Pirates has not been updated. :sad2:

But the detail throughout the park, and particularly on Main Street is wonderful, and don't forget the dragon under the Castle!!! ;)

Thanks!

Now I know where I am staying in Paris, can someone advise me whats the best way to get to DLP.

We are staying 5 minutes from the Eiffel Tower, near President Kennedy station?? (If thats what RER means on googlemaps.) We are not driving.

TIA

Updated, when? Is this something new or were they already 'updated' a year ago?

No. I wrongly presumed, Pirates ride was updated to give it a more Captain Jack look rather than the normal 50's style look. Both parks in US have been updated, the workers at DLP have not got around to it yet. Perhaps they are on stike or something.

OP, go to www.ratp.fr and change the language to English if you don't read French. Then put in your station (or put in the sight if you don't know the station)

The end station should be Marne la Vallee/Chessy.

I'm getting a bus to metro to RER transfer (although you could skip the bus part and walk, or take a taxi to the RER station) If you know your specific address it would be more useful - I just used 'Tour Eiffel' as the starting point

My 'must do' rides in the MK for WDW visitors are

- Big Thunder Mountain MUST DO!
- Space Mountain (if you can go upside down on a roller coaster)
- Pirates (far better story line and theming, better even than DL in CA)
- Indiana Jones (if you can do upside down roller coasters)

Haunted Mansion and Peter Pan are better at WDW and DL in CA although if Phantom Manor doesn't have a line, I would see it anyways.
