Update on trip with elderly parents

Hi Everyone, I had a lot of questions about scooters and wheelchairs after planning a December trip with my elderly parents. My mom had a knee replacement in early August, and my dad was 86. You were all so helpful and answered every question for me. I had reported on August 7, that my dad died very enexpectedly and the trip probably wouldn't happen. I'm so happy to update and say that my mom has decided that the two of us should take the trip to give her something to look forward to. It won't be the same trip, and it will have sadness, but I do think it will be good for both of us and I'm happy that we're going after all. Just wanted to share that with all of you.

I am so glad for you and your Mom, I know that it has probably taken her awhile to decide that you both could use the trip I am so sorry that it will also be a reminder of what would have been had your father been able to go with you all.
