Update on the Special Project

OK, to clear up any misunderstandings on my Special Project...

The project will debut at Patrick Con and Barb Con (both occuring in July). If you attend those meets, you can view it there. If you're on Dayna's (aka DumboOrBust) e-mail address list, you will receive a copy after Barb Con. If you're not on her list yet, you can e-mail or PM her to get on it. You can also e-mail or PM me if you would like a copy and are not on the address list.

The project was a labor of love and I'm only asking for thank yous after you watch it, but donations are truly accepted to offset postage and other assorted costs. However, if a lot of people request a copy, then I may have to make a mandatory donation.

The project is NOT the DIS Con video that was shown at John Con.

Now you have a good reason to attend a July meet!

Marla, this is a perfect excuse to come a PA DIS meet. (meaning my picnic!) How can you possibly miss something so mysterious and exciting?!?!

Don't forget the excellent food too! But no play-by-play commentary over the phone, though. If I catch anyone doing that, I will eat the phone. That goes double if you do scavenger hunting over the phone!

Oh Barry, you have no idea how difficult you're making this for me. Patrick's picnic is definitely out for me because we'll be on the Oregon Coast but I'm still hoping airfare will plummet low enough that I can skip away to Barb-Con ((admittedly, this is doubtful as Maile starts a new school year on July 29th. )). Luckily for me I'm on Dayna's list.

Barry, that sounds great. But that sounds like a lot of work to buy all those VHS tapes, tying up two VCR's to copy one tape at a time, to buy large envelopes and extra stamps and to address all those DISers and then to worry because someone didn't receive their tape because of the postal service delivery, etc..
